On October 21, in order to inherit the packaging history and culture, further improve the science popularization service level of Beijing ORG Packaging Culture Museum (hereinafter referred to as ORG Museum), and better assume the social responsibility of the science popularization demonstration education base, the Human Resources Department of ORG Group organized the ORG Museum team to visit the CPC History Exhibition Hall and the Capital Museum for a one-day study tour.

The ORG Museum was opened in August this year. As a science popularization demonstration (education) base in Huairou District, Beijing, the Origen Museum is not only responsible for spreading packaging culture and science popularization knowledge to the public, but also an industrial museum with large scale and rich content, which can give visitors a comprehensive understanding of the development of domestic packaging. Here, we can see the development history of ORG since its establishment in 1994, and we can also fully understand the development history of domestic packaging and the history of scientific and technological progress, as well as the latest packaging design concept, technology application, and cutting-edge achievements of material innovation in the industry.

This time, the visit and study tour of ORG Museum’s working team aims to broaden the business vision, find opportunities for improvement and enhance the professional ability of the museum's working team by visiting the national and Beijing high-level exhibition halls for experiential learning. During the study tour, the team composed of full-time administrators and interpreters selected from the business department made a profound study and record on the etiquette, words and notes of the tour of ORG Museum.

After the study tour, the team members deeply thought about the planning and implementation of the publicity and education activities, the museum exhibition planning and implementation, and the museum inter library communication, and summarized the learning gains, which can be said to benefit a lot. The study tour is a distillation of the professional ability of the interpreter team in the ORG Museum, and it is very positive for the daily management of the collection in the ORG Museum, the reception of the tour, the professional technology and the training ability.

The study tour not only enriched everyone’s understanding of the cultural connotation and historical significance of the collection, but also clarified the direction and goal of improving the interpretation ability. Just as the saying goes, “reading thousands of books and traveling thousands of miles”, the ORG Museum team will work hard, learn from the excellent experience of the industry, constantly improve the comprehensive service ability in practice, and shoulder the responsibility of inheriting the history of packaging culture.
