In the hot summer of 2023, ORG, Budweiser and Brit jointly held a celebration and exchange meeting for the successful localization of Budweiser aluminum bottle and can (C2C) screw caps.
Ma binyun, vice president and general manager of the two-piece can business department of ORG Technology Co., Ltd., Yu Tao, deputy general manager of the business department, Yu Xianchao, general manager of Hubei ORG Packaging Co., Ltd., Li Eryong, factory director, Long Fei, deputy factory manager, Zhang Wei, manager, liuyishang, manager and Liu Xiang, etc. attended the localization celebration and exchange meeting. Budweiser team members include Yi Hongtao, regional director 1, Zhuang Tao, packaging director of Asia Pacific Business Support (ZBS), Liu Suling, packaging innovation and technology director of Asia Pacific, Xia Xiaofang, factory director, Niu Song, deputy director, Ren Dongyuan, deputy director, Peng Lou, manager and Lijingjing, manager. Borrett was attended by Chairman Chen Yong, Vice President Gao Xianguo, factory director Zhang Yue, manager xiehaicheng and manager Ma Yifei. The three parties jointly attended the celebration and exchange meeting.
Strong teams work together, ORG works with Budweiser C2C aluminum bottle to create brilliance
Since the establishment of the C2C aluminum bottle production line in October 2016, ORG has been working hard on the Budweiser aluminum bottle project. From equipment installation, commissioning and trial production to the normal supply of Budweiser aluminum bottles in February 2018 to April 2023, the cumulative production of Budweiser aluminum bottles has reached 300 million bottles. ORG has devoted a lot of effort to the Budweiser aluminum bottle project.
Hubei ORG Packaging Co., Ltd. also officially joined the “SSA supplier strategic alliance” established by Budweiser Asia Pacific in March 2022, and set up the “SSA supplier strategic alliance” project leading group composed of Hubei general manager Yu Xianchao and Budweiser SSA experts, and the project promotion group with Li Eryong, Fang Fei, Cheng Lu, Huang Jiayue and Liu Yishang as pillar leaders.
In 2022, the 330 aluminum bottle of Org C2C project won the favor of Budweiser Group Wuhan Company with high quality and zero defect rate, and helped Wuhan packaging 330 aluminum bottle line achieve brilliant and proud performance. The key KPI efficiency and customer complaint rate maintained an excellent Guinness record of Budweiser group, and won the honor of “best packaging material supplier of the year” of Budweiser Wuhan Beer Co., Ltd.
Gathering in Xianning, ORG adds vitality to the implementation of SSA project
At the first stop of the activity, Budweiser InBev and Brit first visited the production base of ORG in Xianning two piece cans. Budweiser highly affirmed ORG’s professional skills, management experience and spirit of unity and cooperation in the SSA project, and shared the experience and cases in the process of SSA project after the visit.
Liu Yishang, the partner of ORG “SSA supplier strategic alliance” and the project pillar leader, shared how to sort out and identify the key quality PI through the process, formulate the response plan, further conduct in-depth analysis on defects, and give full play to the potential of personnel. And by optimizing error proofing design, sensors and other measures, the implementation of pre-management, the defect will be intercepted in the front end, and the flow of nonconforming products will never be transferred to the next process, helping to achieve zero defect complaint (DMR).
Fang Fei, deputy factory director of ORG Xianning, shared the ITF case of quality loss improvement, introduced how to use VPO tool to help improve process PI, and also shared the key project of carbon neutralization - photovoltaic power generation, as well as the cooperation with Budweiser on energy conservation and emission reduction to reduce and optimize the boiler outlet temperature and significantly reduce the boiler gas consumption.
Ma Binyun, vice president of the group and general manager of the two-piece can business unit, highly praised Budweiser’s SSA project for bringing new ideas and improving production management to ORG. ORG will further carry out in-depth binding and project cooperation with Budweiser.
Zhuang Tao, packaging director of Budweiser ZBS, praised ORG for its participation in the global EP project, and thanked ORG for welcoming cooperation and active cooperation with an open mind. In this process, Budweiser experts also learned and gained. President Zhuang warmly wishes ORG a prosperous future.
Xia Xiaofang, the director of Budweiser Wuhan, expressed satisfaction with the results of the cooperation between the two sides. The next work is to introduce the heat pump technology into ORG through in-depth exchanges and joint research, which will improve the working environment and achieve energy conservation and emission reduction.
Gathering in Wuhan again, brainstorming among the three teams to make creative ideas
After the visit to Xianning, the three party teams met again at Wuhan Budweiser factory. Budweiser first organized experts to introduce how to use CCR to realize data intelligence to find people and improve work efficiency to org and Brett teams. After that, they visited the C2C aluminum bottle production line to understand the application of aluminum bottles and Brit domestic caps in Budweiser production line. A number of packaging management experts introduced the on-site workstation, the wine valve maintenance room and the process inspection room (PQA) of the packaging, and also selected the winning staff of the technical support award and the best coordination award recognized by the project on site, and presented awards on site.
Through this visit to Budweiser’s production line, org has a deeper understanding of Budweiser InBev's production philosophy and beer culture, as well as the process of Budweiser beer related localization projects.
At the end of the seminar, they put forward a number of innovative points, including layout design, printing scheme, anti-counterfeiting means and so on, providing more and more innovative directions with reference value for future cooperation.
The exchange celebration of the successful localization of C2C rotary cover not only made a successful summary for the localization project of C2C cover, but also provided a good opportunity for the three parties to communicate and cooperate. It also gave ORG a clear direction for optimization and improvement in the next SSA project, laying a solid foundation for future in-depth cooperation. As a core supplier for Budweiser’s strategic cooperation, ORG will give full play to its own advantages and exert all its efforts to play a greater role and make more important contributions in SSA projects.
