China-French LeDong Charity Football Season Kicks Off at Xiangong Town Third Elementary School in Shaanxi Province

The China-French LeDong Charity Football Season is initiated by the Beijing LeDong Charity Foundation in collaboration with Auxerre China. By establishing a special football fund, the event aims to promote the integration of football culture into schools and help children realize their dreams of playing football.

The first station of the event kicked off on April 23 at the Third Elementary School in Xiangong Town, Chencang District, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province.

The school is home to many left-behind children. Through the power of football, the Foundation seeks to connect with these children and bring joy into their lives. The event not only provides an opportunity for the students to experience the thrill of playing football but also allows them to feel the love and warmth that comes with being part of a team.

ORG Technology Co., Ltd. has built a standardized 200-meter track, a basketball court, and a 5-a-side football field for this elementary school.

First session — Football Culture Class

The class focused on the evolution of football jerseys, a microcosm of the development of modern football. Through the lens of "Jersey Culture", an integral part of football heritage, the event aimed to pique the curiosity and interest of the young participants. The children learned that the colors, stripes, and designs adorning each jersey are deeply rooted in the cultural, political, and even religious history of the team's home city.

By using this small entry point, the instructor guided the children to understand the broader context of football culture. The event sought to establish children’s correct understanding of the sport, emphasizing that football's development has long transcended the boundaries of the game itself.

\

The results of the class were remarkable. After the session, the children were brimming with fascinating ideas and questions about football, eager to learn more about its culture. This enthusiasm demonstrated that the goal of the class had been achieved – to inspire more children to develop a genuine interest in football.

Second session— Football Skills Class

The Football Skills Class was designed to provide professional technical guidance to the 15-member football team at the School. The Auxerre Jingshan youth training coaches played a crucial role in this session.

\

Based on the current skill level of the team members, the coaches crafted a tailored training program. This approach signifies a transition from simply providing resources to empowering the children with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the sport. The training program's content moved beyond rigid technical movements and drills that often stray from the essence of football. Instead, the coaches emphasized not just how to play but also the reasons behind each technique and strategy.

Third session - Participation in daily physical education classes

To further strengthen friendships with the kids, the instructors and coaches participated in their regular physical education classes, sharing the joy of sports and creating a sense of camaraderie.

At the children's request, two young coaches participated in a 200m race alongside the children during their PE class

Beyond the PE classes, the coaches made a conscious effort to engage in the children's extracurricular activities whenever possible. Through games and the shared love for football, they provided the children with additional care and companionship.

Football has an inherent warmth that makes it a powerful tool for forging connections. Meaningful activities can also be fun, and this is precisely what the event aimed to demonstrate. By participating in the children's daily lives, the teachers and coaches showed that football can serve as a bridge, guiding all children, especially those who are left behind, towards a shore filled with interest, passion, love, and warmth.
