Scheduled from September 26th to 28th, the tour will feature professional races, mass participation events, and a cycling carnival. The organizers have invited 18 UCI-registered professional teams and opened registration for 2,000 amateur cycling enthusiasts. The professional race comprises a one-day city circuit and a two-day men's road race, covering a total distance of 362 kilometers across Tunxi District, Huangshan District, Huizhou District, She County, and Yi County. The route presents a variety of challenges, including flat roads, mountains, and hills. Amateur participants will enjoy a 92.6-kilometer race around picturesque Taiping Lake in a single-day event.
Xuan emphasized that this year's Tour of Huangshan will showcase higher-level professional competition, larger-scale mass participation, and a broader array of themed activities. These enhancements are designed to elevate the overall experience for both participants and spectators, further cementing its status as a premier cycling event. To enhance the visitor experience, Huangshan City is offering special incentives. From September 21st to 30th, participants will receive half-price admission to 11 4A-level and above tourist attractions citywide, with 8 scenic spots in Huangshan District offering free entry.
The event has already attracted high-caliber teams from 12 countries, including Australia, Thailand, Netherlands, South Korea, Germany, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Serbia, France, Philippines, Malaysia, and China.
