The Human Resources Department of ORG Technology Co., Ltd. and the Quality Management Center jointly launched the second phase of the “Talent Share” series of themed training activities - 5S standardized management and practice, which was brought by Wan Guanglian, Director of the Production Department of Guangdong ORG Packaging Co., Ltd.

The training lasted for 2 hours and was conducted online. More than 230 personnel from various business departments, production, equipment, and quality departments participated in the training.

What is the significance of 5S management?

 

5S management is a commonly used management method in modern enterprise management. It is necessary to view it from the perspective of continuous improvement, so that the practical operation of 5S can contribute to the improvement of plant operation and performance.

Moreover, 5S management is not a matter for any one person or department. Only when senior executives and employees at the grassroots level collaborate and actively implement, and everyone contributes to 5S, can good results be achieved. To this end, Guangdong Company has established an open and fair performance system and an effective and feasible rationalization suggestion system, with corresponding rewards to encourage all employees to actively participate in the practice and promotion of 5S. After years of continuous accumulation and innovation, the 5S management work of Guangdong Company has become an indispensable part of the factory management system. After the training, all participants passed the online knowledge assessment and achieved a good score of 91 points on average. Overall satisfaction with the training was 100%.
