From October 21 to 22, 2021, ORG Technology Co., Ltd. and Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication conducted a two-day in-depth team visit to each other. The two sides had friendly and in-depth exchanges on the current situation of the printing industry, future industrial development and research direction, talent training and other issues, and reached a strategic cooperation intention on industry university research cooperation.

On October 21, Qi Yuansheng, President of the College of Printing and Packaging of Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, Zhang Gaimei, Secretary of the Party committee, Wang Xin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, Liang Lijuan, a teacher teaching packaging engineering, Zhang Haibao, a teacher teaching polymer, and Li Lianfang, a teacher teaching packaging engineering, took the lead in visiting our company. Chen Yufei, senior vice president of ORG and general manager of the R&D center, and relevant colleagues of the R & D center received the visiting team with friendship.

After learning about the development history and main R & D projects of ORG, the College of Printing and Packaging delegation visited the production line of Beijing factory to understand the process, capacity and energy consumption in can making production, and discussed the experimental equipment and testing capacity in the laboratory of the R & D center. And Beijing Baoyin printing workshop conducted in-depth communication and discussion on the printing quality problems existing in the field of metal packaging.

The College of Printing and Packaging delegation highly recognized ORG’s innovative achievements, lean management and professional technical level, and said that this exchange visit is of great significance to the future strategic cooperation between the two sides.

On October 22, Chen Yufei, senior vice president of the company and general manager of the R & D center, and Chen Ying, general manager of the group’s personnel administration center, led a team to visit the College of Printing and Packaging. Gao Jinhong, Party Secretary of Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, Qi Yuansheng, President of College of Printing and Packaging, and Zhang gaimei, Party Secretary of College of Printing and Packaging attended the visit and delivered speeches. The College of Printing and Packaging showed the research results in ink, polymer and plasma. The two sides had an in-depth discussion on the existing problems in the industry and the specific projects that the two sides can cooperate on.

Chen Ying said that the College of Printing and Packaging is the Huangpu Military Academy in the printing industry, and ORG is the leading enterprise in the metal packaging industry. Both sides shoulder the mission and responsibility of jointly cultivating talents and promoting the development of the industry. ORG is willing to build 29 production bases into off campus talent training bases of the College of Printing and Packaging, providing internships and job opportunities for students. At the same time, ORG will select some undergraduate students majoring in printing and packaging with excellent academic performance and family financial difficulties and provide them with study and living assistance every year.

With clear strategic goals, both sides join hand in hand to reach preliminary cooperation intention.

Through the exchange visits, the two sides have formed clearer objectives for the next step of industry university research cooperation and reached the following cooperation intentions: (1) cooperate in the development of green and environmental friendly packaging and printing materials and printing technology to jointly promote the development of the industry; (2) Jointly declare national projects, jointly build an innovation platform, and create a new carrier for bilateral cooperation and innovation; (3) Jointly train professionals and improve the theoretical and practical level of industry talents; (4) College of Printing and Packaging organizes an “ORG innovative packaging creativity competition” every year to understand the packaging aesthetics and creativity of mainstream young consumer groups and stimulate students’ learning enthusiasm. Chen Yufei said that the above cooperation intention will be carried out in an orderly manner in stages as planned to ensure that a communication and implementation meeting will be held at least once a quarter.

 This exchange visit is a collision of experience and inspiration between the School of Printing and the practice of metal packaging industry, which is of great significance to the strategic cooperation between Org and College of Printing and Packaging. Based on the principle of resource sharing and complementary advantages, the two sides will give full play to their respective advantages, vigorously promote talent training, and carry out industry university research projects that meet social needs, are in line with the market, and combine practice and theory. In addition, the two sides will build a long-term and stable multi-level and multi form school enterprise cooperation model, so as to achieve the strategic goal of “school enterprise cooperation and win-win production and learning”, and contribute to the progress of the printing and packaging industry.
