On January 12, the Group's Human Resources and Administration Center initiated the ORG Public Charity Month, with the main event taking place in Huairou and 39 satellite locations participating online. During the opening ceremony, Chen Ying, the General Manager of ORG's Human Resources and Administration Center, along with others, reflected on the company's commitment to public charity over the years. Tracing back to its humble beginnings 30 years ago in Wenchang, Hainan, ORG made its first foray into public charity by supporting education and contributing to worthy causes. This effort began with the founding of the first ORG Public Charity School, Wengtian Town No. 2 Primary School in Wenchang, Hainan.

Over the past three decades, thanks to the collective dedication of all employees, the company has steadfastly pursued its mission to rejuvenate the national packaging industry. Despite challenges, ORG has grown from a modest factory into a leading metal packaging giant, producing tens of billions of cans.

Throughout its journey, ORG has steadfastly adhered to its guiding principle of "serving the country through industry development and enhancing public welfare". Following the initial establishment of Wengtian Town No. 2 Primary School in Wenchang, Hainan, the company has expanded its educational support initiatives to several mountainous and less developed regions, including Pingdu in Shandong, Guilin in Guangxi, Suizhong in Liaoning, Xianning in Hubei, Baoji in Shaanxi, Wuding in Yunnan, Yangbi Yi Autonomous County in Yunnan, Gui'an New District in Guizhou, and Lhasa in Tibet. These efforts have focused on improving the educational environment and infrastructure in schools facing challenges. Currently, ORG supports 10 ORG Public Charity Schools as part of its ongoing commitment to educational support.

As the initiatives were implemented across all of ORG's divisions and subsidiaries, the company's dedication to public welfare deeply resonated with every employee. This collective spirit of contributing to public welfare, underpinned by a strong belief and actionable efforts, inspired all ORG staff members to engage in educational support activities. Demonstrating their commitment to educational support, employees eagerly contributed their support, showcasing the compassion and kindness characteristics of the ORG community. The ORG Public Charity Month witnessed an impressive participation rate, with 3,191 employees collectively donating 434,871.71 yuan towards educational aid. These funds will be channeled entirely through the LeDong Public Welfare Foundation to support the ORG Public Charity School for the year 2024—Nuodeng Town Central School in Yunlong County of the Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Situated in a mountain village, this school serves up to 1,600 students but is currently challenged by inadequate sports facilities and various safety concerns. The generous donations from ORG employees will facilitate the construction of a new sports field with comprehensive sports amenities, ensuring a environment conducive to the physical and healthy development of children in this remote area.

As ORG progresses and expands, it remains firmly committed to supporting educational welfare initiatives, embracing the belief that its endeavors extend beyond business achievements. Through these actions, ORG personnel are not just building a successful enterprise but are also nurturing a legacy of hope and benevolence, contributing significantly to the well-being and future prospects of communities in need.
