On January 8, the Standing Committee of the 13th Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPPCC held its 38th meeting. The meeting deliberated and adopted the list of members of the 14th Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, with 760 members. Zhou Yuan, Vice Chairman of ORG Technology Co., Ltd., was elected as a member of the 14th Beijing CPPCC and attended the first meeting of the 14th Beijing CPPCC held from January 14 to 18.

After being elected as a member of the CPPCC, Zhou Yuan participated in the first meeting of the 14th session of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the sector joint group symposium with a new mission and identity, and visited the interview room of the two sessions of the New Beijing News Qianlong Network. At the CPPCC meeting, Zhou Yuan put forward relevant proposals such as “On Promoting Industrial Chain Synergy to Promote the Resumption of Private Enterprises”, “On Developing Suburban Micro-tourism Industry in the Post-infection Era”, and he also put forward very constructive suggestions at the levels of industrial coordinated development, deep processing of agricultural products and suburban micro-tourism. At the joint forum of “comprehensively promoting rural revitalization and taking the lead in realizing agricultural and rural modernization”, the members discussed the relevant topics of rural revitalization in depth. Looking forward to the future, Zhou Yuan said passionately: “The new hope is in the countryside, and the strength of the mission is in the countryside”. He encouraged leading enterprises in the same industry chain to help small and micro enterprises, help the real economy, better promote economic recovery, and develop different consumer products and provide more personalized and diversified services by subdividing consumer groups and consumer characteristics.
Propose Suggestions by Combining Practice with Theories.
At the joint group meeting of “comprehensively promoting rural revitalization and taking the lead in realizing agricultural and rural modernization”, Zhou Yuan not only put forward very specific theoretical suggestions on “industrial integration”, but also proved the feasibility and importance of industrial integration development and support for deep processing of agricultural products through many successful practical cases of ORG at the level of industrial integration.
At the level of industrial integration, Zhou Yuan proposed that industrial integration development should support the deep processing industry of agricultural products. The deep processing of agricultural products is connected with the land at one end and the market at the other end. It is considered as a new model for the integrated development of primary, secondary and tertiary industries. Relevant departments should strengthen efforts to support the deep processing industry of agricultural products, formulate and issue policies on tax incentives, project subsidies, talent introduction and other aspects, and mobilize social capital to invest in relevant industries. In the practice of deep processing of agricultural products, we should develop innovative technologies to promote productivity. In this regard, ORG has a lot of successful cases such as “prefabricated dishes”, “Yuanyangwuyu Functional Drink”, “canned fruits” and so on. Relying on the local characteristics of agricultural products, traditional Chinese medicine, fruits and other resources in the production base, ORG has combined its own production and processing capacity and supply chain system advantages to help “agricultural products going out of the mountains”.
In addition, on the basis of rich tourism resources in the suburbs of Beijing, Zhou Yuan also proposed to promote the empowerment of cultural industries and supply characteristic tourism resources. The characteristic tourism resources in the suburbs of Beijing are rich, but not fully exploited. Building innovative “tourism+” projects can not only stimulate rural economic growth, provide more employment opportunities, but also enhance the communication between urban and rural residents. The suburbs and villages of Beijing have high-quality characteristic tourism resources. Promoting the cross-border integration and coordinated development of tourism and other industries can promote the birth of new business forms, extend the industrial chain and create new value.
Zhou Yuan believed that more than 40 years ago, rural reform opened the curtain of reform and opening up; More than 40 years later, we will start a new phase of urban-rural integration and modernization through rural revitalization.
