Three Decades of Entrepreneurship, Unwavering Commitment to Public Welfare
Since its founding in Wenchang, Hainan, in 1994, ORG has deeply embraced the belief of serving the nation through industry. Our commitment to public welfare began with the educational charity initiative for the Second Primary School of Wengtian Town, Wenchang City, Hainan Province, using education as a starting point. As ORG has grown and expanded, so too has the reach of our educational charity efforts. Our initiatives have extended across multiple provinces, including Hainan, Shandong, Guangxi, Liaoning, Hubei, Shaanxi, Yunnan, and Guizhou. By focusing on one rural school at a time, we have improved educational conditions, provided healthier and better learning and living environments for tens of thousands of children, and strived to create a comprehensive and equal development platform for them. In addition to our focus on education, ORG’s social responsibility projects encompass a wide range of areas, including earthquake relief, winter sports, culture, and art. This multifaceted approach demonstrates our comprehensive commitment to giving back to the communities we serve.
A New Chapter at the 30-Year Mark: Striding Forward Together for the Greater Good
The 30-year journey is a testament to ORG’s growth and has planted the seed of charity in the heart of every ORG employee. In the early spring of 2024, as we celebrated ORG’s 30th anniversary, we launched the ORG Charity Month initiative as a new starting point. We encouraged every ORG employee to embrace this spirit of love and responsibility, inviting them to contribute to a new chapter in our public welfare efforts. The Charity Month served as a powerful reminder of ORG’s commitment to public welfare, with our employees' actions and dedication deeply resonating throughout the organization. This initiative allowed every ORG employee to witness firsthand the transformative impact of giving back to our communities. The Charity Month initiative saw an overwhelming response from our employees, with 3,191 ORG team members collectively donating 434,871.71 yuan towards education. This figure is more than just a sum of money; it represents a powerful testament to the love, compassion, and shared values that unite us as an organization.
In 2024, we pooled the generous donations from our employees to support several key initiatives within our charity program. One of these initiatives involved rebuilding the playground for the Nuodeng Town Central School in Yunlong County, Dali, Yunnan, creating a safe and engaging space for children to play and learn. We also established the Ledong Scholarship at Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication to support outstanding college students from disadvantaged families, enabling them to complete their studies and pursue their dreams.
Furthermore, we implemented the “Football on Campus” program in the ORG-supported primary schools, namely the Gaoling Town Central Primary School in Suizhong County and the Third Primary School in Xiangong Town, Chencang District. We sought to introduce children to the joys and benefits of football by employing captivating teaching methods and professional training, opening doors for children to understand the world through sports.
In addition to these educational initiatives, we also responded swiftly to natural disasters. We donated rescue supplies worth 1 million yuan to the Huludao area, providing essential support to those affected during their time of need. By channeling these donations through the LeDong Charity Foundation, we ensure that every contribution is maximized and directed towards the most impactful projects, making a genuine difference in the lives of those we serve.
